“printing money out of thin air and producing almost nothing.” However most of what is produced by global economy is worthless, i.e. toys and entertainment. In a way, life has become perverted. It’s wonderful- a fantasy land; Americans go to the store and with credit get clothes, computers, video phones, games…concerts. Food is at the supermarket. This won’t last forever. In reality life is really hardship and death. People should be jumping for joy to find a dead squirrell to eat.
FDIC is insolvent, Freddie/Fannie are insolvent, all non-local and non-credit unions banks are bankrupt. They’re paying themselves in voodoo money, driving a doomed train right off its tracks.

According to Denninger, it’s time to buckle our seatbelts. Check it out; what do you think??
True, but it is through technology that humans have decreased both. Unfortunately, as you well stated it has been squandered to pacify the masses and give control to a few. You will never see advanced & cheap solar panels on an average person’s home. Of course the wealthy have them, and they don’t even need them. That tells one something. or the fact we have 40 different ipods and no cure for cancer.
A piece of advice: take what is yours, I mean, take your money from the banks and buy real things like gold. What they are doing is robber the nation blind, in a way that the bankers can only make loans plus an interest rate if you use your credit card, trust them your money or gold!
